5 to 8 min
|Brie wheel||500 gr|
|Pitted dates||8 to 12|
|White flour||2/3 cup|
|Panko bread crumbs||1 1/4 cup|
|Fresh ground pepper|
|Porto Jelly or fruit chutney|
Cut Brie in 4 equal parts (like pizza slices), insert into the four Brie pieces 2 to three pitted dates.
Put flour in a first bowl, in a second bowl whisk three whole eggs, in a third bowl put panko bread crumbs.
Cover the Brie pieces with the flour, then into the bowl with the whisked eggs and finally into the bowl with the bread crumbs. Make sure that the Brie pieces are covered entirely. If they are not covered entirely repeat the flour, eggs and bread crumbs steps.
Fry at 350 celcius for 2 to 3 minutes and to get that golden brown colour put in oven for 4 to 6 minutes after frying. Serve with an onion cofit, porto jelly or a fruit chutney.
Sprinkle with ground pepper
